I have a daughter who can be extremely feminine and somewhat masculine all at once. This is quite the blend, however, my own mother says that I behaved similarly during the time I was growing up. In hindsight, I believe she is telling me the truth. I really liked to roughhouse and scale trees, however I also really enjoyed dressing up in my mom's outfits. If my mom caught me sampling her makeup behind her back, I would get scolded, and I was always happy to receive a beautiful dress as a present on my birthday. The other day, my little girl asked me for a Barbie dollhouse, and I was transported back to the time I was little.

We made a trip to the store, and I browsed through all the Barbie dollhouses and Barbie clothes they offered for purchase. I was extremely surprised at how much they cost. A lot of gorgeous dresses were available in the Barbie dollhouse area, however, they were so expensive that I would be unable to get her all of the dresses and dollhouses she desired. More accurately, I would have been able to purchase these dresses, but not until I sold my vehicle and got some cash. I simply couldn't believe it.

What's more, the Barbie dollhouse  didn't simply include accessories. You could buy chairs, tables, and other kinds of accessories to match the house. I completely comprehend the reasons she desires genuine Barbie dollhouses, but I had to make the decision to only get her a few of the real items. If she wanted more, we'd have to buy other brands to complete her set. Many other stores sell dollhouse accessores, and we were able to find them for quite a bit less.

Finally, my little girl was able to get two accessories from the Barbie dollhouse section in the specialty store, and all the others were from an assortment of locations. It took a little searching, however, I eventually discovered many excellent items. The majority of items I bought were very similar to Barbie dollhouse items, but they were quite a bit cheaper. When you purchase the Barbie brand, you are definitely being charged for the title. Fortunately, my little girl is just five years old, so she doesn't know much about brands as of now. She is just happy if it is beautiful and works properly, and that, of course, makes me happy too.
